Paco, is it true?

As the popularity of Paco has grown, so have the myths.  Some are based partially in truth, others complete fabrications.  It's important to Paco that his fan base understand him.  As he says, "If it is true then I think of it.  Do you understand me?"

The purpose of this page is to dispel some of the myths of Paco and his unique form of expression.  If there's a question you have or a myth that is unanswered you can email us here for inclusion on this page.

Let's Begin

  • Does each work get sprayed with your DNA Paco?

"As I have said when cloning becomes part of daily life like washing or the talking, you can clone your own Paco.  I spray each work with Paco DNA."

  • What is your ethnicity?

"Why do you ask?  I don't ask you.  Paco is more than some, less than who?  Do you understand me?"

  • Do you do nudes?

"No, I have removed my clothes in the past and it made the subject uneasy.  I now keep my clothes on me."

  • How much do you charge for a portrait?

"Money is the evil of this land, yet it pays to invest in it.  I look at you and think of my next portrait.  I like it."

Born to a man and woman in Cleveland OH, Paco is a a former child star in area television.  His early childhood was spent as a youth on Cleveland's west side.

Never one to lend a hand, Paco found that his "stained canvas" was a shot at fame.  His temper exploded in 1967 when a British musician purchased "Sgt Paco's Lonely Pee Pants Band" a painting he did (and then peed on) and turned it into music history.

A private intellectual, Paco can often be seen on the lakeshore shouting at sheephead and carp and gesturing to airplanes.

Email your questions to me.  Depending on the source of the fabric of it I may make light of your statements.  I won't turn you into a average common fellow.

Make not of this, I have created a new song.
